Clean Cooking for Health: Separating the Noise from the Truth

Clean Cooking for Health: Separating the Noise from the Truth

Cooking behaviors are culturally engrained, resource-constrained, and a strong force of habit with a myriad of health consequences. Research on the effectiveness of clean cooking interventions for improving health in low-resource settings is thus complex and challenging, and strongly influenced by approaches to implementation. This session explores the lessons learned from studies investigating how clean cooking can promote respiratory and cardiovascular health and the collective power of these lessons to inform future investments in the clean cooking sector.
