Biography
Brice MacLaren is a Staff Engineer with the Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Group at M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratory developing scalable technologies for clean water distribution, alternative power generation, smart agriculture, and disaster recovery operations. He has 35 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams to rapidly field new technologies across a variety of industries. For the past 7 years, he has collaborated with Columbia University’s Sustainable Engineering Laboratory to develop water distribution and solar power solutions for communities in Africa. He holds a BSME and MSME degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
