Dean Still

Dean Still joined Aprovecho Research Center in 1989 and has been the Executive Director since 1993. Dean oversees R&D of the ARC emission equipment and improved biomass stoves. He has participated in over 100 stove projects worldwide. In 2006, he helped to formulate the Shell Foundation Benchmarks of Performance. His latest book, “Clean Burning Biomass Cookstoves” summarizes a recent three year SBIR and DOE investigation and iterative development of a new generation of cookstoves.
