Dr. Ajay Mathur

Dr. Mathur is the Director-General of TERI—The Energy Resources Institute and a member of the Indian Prime Minister’s Council on Climate Change. Prior to his role at TERI, Dr. Mathur was Director-General of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency in the Government of India (2006-2016). He has been a key Indian climate change negotiator, serving as the Indian spokesperson at COP21 in Paris, and is a global leader on technological approaches to address climate change.
