Case Studies on Accelerating Clean Fuels: Lessons from the NIH Implementation Science Network

The National Institutes for Health (NIH) has developed an implementation science network (ISN) to advance our understanding of how to improve the uptake and appropriate use of evidence-based clean cooking interventions to maximize their benefits on the health and longevity of populations in LMICs. This session will share lessons learned from selected case studies of the ISN focused on socioeconomic considerations of access to clean stoves and fuels, critical household behaviors and the role of environmental context, and experiences with technology adaption and/or distribution during the implementation process.
