India Clean Cooking Forum: Session I –Breaking Free from the “Chulla Trap”: Envisioning Clean Cooking Energy in India in 2020: Practitioners’ Perspectives
In this session, the attempt will be to bring together perspectives of various arms of the clean cooking energy sector. Representatives of electricity, LPG and natural gas as well RE based cooking energy will talk about the issues that they face. The focus will be on how the various arms can work together in addressing their limitations and challenges. These discussions will help to develop a collective clean cooking energy vision for the country in 2020 to completely replace the traditional chulha. The collective vision would entail identifying contexts for which each option or various cooking energy “stacks” fits best.
