Improving Air Quality: The Role of Clean Cooking

In many parts of the world, household energy consumption accounts for up to 30% of ambient air pollution. This session will discuss the role that reducing emissions from household air pollution can play in improving ambient air quality, and highlight implications for health and climate co-benefits. Examples from India, China, Nepal, and Ghana will be presented and evaluated for their potential to serve as models for other national programs.
