The session will focus on creating an ecosystem that favours promoting a range of cooking energy options (including various types of stacks) that are clean and effective in the delivery of cooking energy services. Opinions of key stakeholders will be sought to identify the policy measures that would ensure the provision of clean cooking solutions in places with unmet energy needs. Discussions will also try to address the key gaps around technology innovation, testing and marketing of these solutions. Additionally, policy and institutional (and inter-ministerial) linkages, financing, distribution issues would be discussed by a panel comprising representatives of MNRE, MoPNG, NABARD and funding/programme development teams.
