Gifty Baaba Asmah is the Founder and Executive Director of Daasgift Quality Foundation-FNGO (DQF), and the co-founder of Uniklife Microfinance Company, and proprietress of Daasgift Enterprise and Renewable Energy Services, all located in Western Ghana. Gifty is one of the pioneers who championed the establishment of Ghana Alliance for Clean Cookstove and Ghana Association of Microfinance Companies (GAMC). She holds a Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Management and Administration and a certificate holder in Community Development, VSLA management and Risk Management issued by MDI-New Hampshire University/GHAMFIN. She is a member of the International Professional Managers Association (IPMA) as well as the Chartered Institute of Administration and Management Consultants (CIAMC-GH). Prior to founding DQF, she worked with a reputable rural bank in Ghana for over twelve years and rose to the rank of a Deputy General Manager. Gifty was the proud Winner of 2011 Most Influential Woman in Power Award for her role she is playing in energy access through microfinance.
