Van is the Environment and Health Lead at the Global Good Fund/Intellectual Ventures Laboratory, based in Seattle USA. She builds projects and partnerships to develop low-cost, innovative technologies on water, sanitation and renewable energies with a view to improving the livelihoods and health of communities and individuals in low-resource settings.
